Growing up in a farmhouse on a farmers market as the youngest of 7 siblings, she learned to make sure her voice was heard and developed some incredible people and business skills from an early age. After going through the tragic loss of her husband in 2014 and her mom, dad and oldest brother all within a short time frame of each other, Pat shares how she found the inner courage to move forward, heal, and inspire others. In spite of these losses, Pat still figured out how to not only maintain the construction business as a woman in a male dominated industry, but actually grow it and differentiate herself from everyone else in the industry by using her knowledge of the industry, organizational skills, attention to detail and her strong personality. She shares with the audience actionable advice for individuals who may be embarking on an unknown journey or maybe having to start over. She reminds us that "When we laugh, we laugh with others, when we cry, we often cry alone" but that it's ok to cry but it's not okay to stay in bed. Pat reminds us all that confidence is the key to finding success no matter how bad things may seem and we all have something to offer in this lifetime, we just have to go and find it.
